Process

    1. Verify juvenile is a member of a federally recognized tribe.
    2. DO NOT write a court date on ticket/report unless it is traffic offense.
      • DJJ will provide a court date.
    3. Retrieve parent information.
    4. Please provide a PC affidavit or report for any juvenile referrals (including citations for criminal offenses). We cannot file a petition unless we have facts to support the alleged infraction.
    5. Send report to CNAG-JUV@cherokee.org
