Over 31,000 elders applied for Respond, Recover and Rebuild Elder Assistance. A $400 check will be mailed to elders directly, starting this week. For those elders in the reservation, a $1,200 payment will be made soon directly to utility companies. Questions: elders@cherokee.org

Our procurement portal offers opportunities for individuals and businesses to bid on requested work projects by Cherokee Nation and Cherokee Nation Businesses. Cherokee Nation’s Tribal Employment Rights Office maintains a listing of Indian-owned businesses.  This listing is used by CNB and the Cherokee Nation Purchasing Department when letting contracts out for bid.  The TERO Ordinance allows for TERO-Certified businesses to receive preferential treatment in the bid process. If you would like to be certified as an Indian Preference firm, you may contact the TERO Office to apply.

Please visit the Procurement site for more information regarding bids and proposals.
