The Cherokee Nation Communications Department promotes and protects the image of the Cherokee Nation and acts as a voice for the tribe, including Administration, tribal leaders, departments and employees.
The Communications team provides many services, including writing news releases, coordinating media interviews, producing videos, graphic design, ads, brochures, Anadisgoi Magazine, Cherokee Nation Cherokee Voices, Cherokee Sounds radio program, annual reports, event planning and managing Cherokee Nation’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.
The Cherokee Nation’s earned media coverage in 2020 for news stories was valued at more than $250 million in the U.S., and another $50 million worldwide.
