Robin Allen, a Cherokee Nation citizen, has served the Cherokee Nation for over 20 years. Ms. Allen has a Bachelor of Science degree and is an expert in the grant field, as well as an experienced and knowledgeable provider of technical assistance and capacity development instruction.
Robin is the Manager of Grant Management. She manages a team of Grant Specialists who actively assist Cherokee Nation departments in maintaining grant compliance and currently coordinates the reporting for over 300 Cherokee Nation grants, amounting to over 500 million dollars in funding for services for citizens. She prides herself on working hard to ensure grant funding is maintained for Cherokee Nation services.
Ms. Allen maintains professional memberships in the Grant Professionals Association (GPA) and the National Grants Management Association (NGMA). Robin is currently the acting Secretary for the GPA – Oklahoma Chapter of grant professionals and serves on the NGMA Membership Committee to promote the Tribal Sector. She is a tad bit competitive and always looking to win, whether it comes to grant applications, or her North Carolina Tarheels.
