Non-Traditional Employment Training

Cherokee Nation Career Services Non-Traditional Employment Training (NET) Program is accepting applications for free vocational training. Innovative training programs including certifications in construction and building trades, transportation, and other non-traditional industries are available.

Services

  • Will assist justice-involved native women with help identifying and accessing training in non-traditional career pathways that lead to high-wage earning potential.
  • Includes the cost of a non-traditional training program.
  • Supportive services, as needed.

  • Cherokee Nation citizens with an emphasis on women
  • Veterans
  • Justice-involved
  • Women in recovery
  • Residing in one of the 14 counties of the Cherokee Nation Reservation
  • Identified need for vocational training assistance in a non-traditional career path Identified training must lead to a viable and attainable career
  • 18 years of age or older
