Empowering Cherokee Students in Conservation and Natural Resource Management. The Conservation Internship Program is a collaborative initiative between Cherokee Nation Secretary of Natural Resources Office and the Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service. This program provides Cherokee students with valuable, hands-on experience in conservation, natural resources, and environmental stewardship. Through practical internships, students are empowered to build essential skills, develop career pathways, and contribute to conservation efforts that uphold the well-being of our land, culture, and community.
