Cherokee Nation Career Services provides opportunities for career advancement, employment, and training to help individuals and families become self-sufficient. Career Services offers many training opportunities and the in-house training programs feature training materials, courses, assessment and supervision developed by Career Services staff as well as instructors contracted to carry out and complete predetermined program outcomes.
This program provides training in basic building trades. Participants learn such occupations as carpentry, masonry, and electrical work. The program also instructs students on effectively competing for employment. The program works in conjunction with the Home Improvement Program in the Community Services Department.
