Arts programs for schools and community groups are offered through the Cherokee Arts Institute. These programs include hands-on arts and traditional Cherokee crafts activities, as well as storytelling, and serves Cherokee citizens from children to adults. Arts outreach programming is primarily facilitated through schools and community groups.

In addition, the Cherokee Arts Institute includes programs in CAMP Cherokee. This summer camp features classes in arts, traditional Cherokee crafts and STEM for up to 350 students entering the 6th-12th grade and is typically held in late July.
