ᏣᎳᎩ ᎦᏬᏂᎯᏍᏗ ᎠᏂᏫᎡᏍᎩ, the Cherokee Language Master-Apprentice Team Program! This form will help program participants understand what's expected during the two-year program.

The goal of this program is to create new adult Cherokee language teachers. You will be participating in a Cherokee language immersion environment, eight hours per days, five day per week. Language immersion may be difficult and disorienting, initially, but you will need to bring your full attention and best efforts to this face-to-face only, on-site program...daily.

Please fill out this application to the best of your ability. Successful applicants will be chosen on the basis of this application, along with a personal interview. Apprentice positions are very limited, so only those who are most qualified, and present the best essays will be contacted for an interview.

There are currently only seven (7) positions available in this cohort period.
