Welcome to the website www.cherokeebids.org, the official site for certified Indian owned businesses and vendors to view bid announcements, requests for proposals, and other procurement opportunities offered by the Cherokee Nation and its related entities. All procurement opportunities $5,000 and above will be posted to this website and remain open for at least three working days. This site includes procurement opportunities from Cherokee Nation (CN), Cherokee Nation Enterprises (CNE), Cherokee Nation Industries (CNI), Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation (HACN), and Cherokee Nation Home Health Services (CNHH). The site provides search tools to select specific procurement opportunities by defining search criteria and fields you choose. The site also provides a link to information about the Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO).
Instructions for navigating this website:
To view the opportunities for any particular Cherokee Nation entity, choose an entity from the Contents menu on the right of the screen by moving your mouse over the particular entity’s announcements you would like to view and click with your mouse. After you have chosen the specific entity you would like to view procurements for, be sure and move your mouse over the Titles of the announcements and click to view more details for each individual announcement title.
To search for specific procurement opportunities tailored to your business by search criteria and fields you can define, choose “Search Procurements” from the Contents menu on the right of the screen.
To learn more about the Tribal Employment Rights Office, choose the Contents menu item "Visit TERO" on the right of the screen.

- Contact the Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) in Tahlequah at (918) 453-5334 and request an application, or download the application by clicking here.
- Complete the application and send back to TERO. All documents must be present before moving on to Step 3.
- When the application is complete, a site visit will be conducted.
- You will be invited to meet the TERO Committee.
- You will be notified if your company has officially met the requirements to become certified or not.
