Cherokee Nation calendar of events for January

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – The Cherokee Nation hosts several events in January, including events at the Cherokee Nation Veterans Center. See all Cherokee Nation calendar items below.

Jan. 1

Cherokee Nation’s W.W. Keeler Complex, satellite offices and health centers will be closed in observance of New Year’s Day. Cherokee Nation W.W. Hastings Hospital urgent care and emergency department as well as other Cherokee Nation emergency services will remain open.

Jan. 15

Jan. 15-27

Cherokee Nation’s Male Seminary Recreation Center hosts a spin-off challenge, located at 1501 Graham Ave in Tahlequah. This challenge is for two-person teams, and the team with the most mileage tracked will win a prize. The challenge is free to gym members and the deadline to register is Jan. 12.
